The ground rules for Santa Live: be kind, keep it fun, and keep personal details private.

1. About Santa Live

Santa Live is holiday entertainment run by David White (“Santa Live”, “we”). It includes Santa's TikTok LIVE shows, scheduled family visits, Letters from Santa, and this website. By using any of them, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

2. The lists are just for fun

Santa's Nice, Naughty and Really Bad lists are picked at random for entertainment. They are not a real judgment of anyone.

3. Commenting on the live

  • Comment a first name, last name and city only (Santa's list shows just the last initial). Never post an address, school, age, phone number or other personal details — yours or anyone else's.
  • Be kind. No bullying, hate, adult content, spam or links.
  • Santa may skip, hide or remove any comment, and may block accounts that break these rules.
  • TikTok's own terms and community guidelines also apply on TikTok.

4. Family visits

  • Visits are booked by a parent or guardian aged 18 or older, who should be present for the visit.
  • Times, any price, and changes or cancellations are as shown on the booking page and in your confirmation.
  • If Santa has to cancel, we will offer a new time or a full refund of anything you paid.

5. Prizes

Prize moments follow the official rules. No purchase is necessary, and only adults can claim a prize.

6. Letters from Santa

  • Who can order. Letters are filled in by a parent, guardian or family member (18 or older) with the parent's permission. The Free Letter is for anyone, anywhere. Print-at-home and mailed letters, gifted letter requests and Santa's Helpers contributions are for U.S. buyers only, and letters are mailed only to U.S. addresses (the 50 states, Puerto Rico and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses).
  • How letters are written. Each letter is written just for your child by our AI elf helper, using the details you share, and checked by automatic safety filters before anyone sees it. Please read it before sharing it with your child.
  • Refunds and cancellation. Every letter is custom-made just for your child. You can cancel for a full refund any time before your letter is sent to the printer: just email santa@realsantalive.com. If your letter arrives damaged or never arrives, email us within 30 days of the expected delivery date and we'll make it right. Your printable copy is in your confirmation email until January 6. Print-at-home orders can be refunded on request within 30 days.
  • About delivery. Santa works closely with his elves, but he doesn't run the U.S. Postal Service. We usually hand your letters to the post office within 2 business days of your order, or on the mail date you choose. After that, delivery is up to USPS, usually 3–7 days. Orders placed after December 10 (or December 1 for APO/FPO military addresses) may not arrive before Christmas. We can't refund or resend letters because of postal delays, which is why every order includes a printable copy of each letter.
  • Santa's Helpers contributions. Santa's Helpers money is spent only on gifted letters, after card processing fees. Santa Live is not a registered charity, and contributions are not tax-deductible. Any money left after the season carries over to next year's gifted letters. Contributions can be refunded on request within 30 days.
  • Gifted letters. Gifted letters are sent while Santa's Helpers funds last, in the order requests arrive. If the fund is empty, your request joins the waiting list and we'll email you when it's mailed. You can download a free printable letter right now, so your child won't miss out.
  • Sales tax. California sales tax is added to mailed letters sent to California addresses, and shown before you pay. Printable (PDF) letters are not taxed.
  • Not the Postal Service. Santa Live (realsantalive.com) is not affiliated with the U.S. Postal Service or its Operation Santa program.

7. Not TikTok

Santa Live is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by TikTok.

8. Our content

The Santa Live name, artwork and website content belong to Santa Live or its licensors. Please don't copy them for commercial use.

9. No warranties

Santa Live is provided “as is”. Lives can be late, cut short or cancelled, and technology can fail. We do our best, but we can't promise the show will always be available.

10. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Santa Live is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for anything related to Santa Live is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the last 12 months.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of California.
